Rare opportunity to own nearly 20 acres of secluded countryside just minutes from Hastings. This 19.79-acre property offers a unique blend of open meadow, mature woods, and exceptional privacy, making it ideal for hobby farmers, hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone looking for room to roam. Approximately 15 acres are heavily wooded and directly border county-owned land, creating an expansive natural buffer that extends toward the Mississippi River corridor. Wildlife is abundant, and the setting provides outstanding opportunities for hunting, recreation, hiking, and exploring right out your back door. The property features several existing outbuildings, including a large 35x90 Quonset-style building, traditional barn, grain bin, storage sheds, and additional agricultural structures offering ample space for equipment, livestock, workshops, hobbies, or future restoration projects. Several acres of open field provide excellent potential for pasture, hobby farming, gardening, or recreational use. The home has been taken down to the studs and is ready for your vision. Significant improvements have already been completed, including a metal roof, windows, septic system, and approximately half of the siding in 2016, plus a new well in 2020. Natural gas is available at the road, providing additional flexibility for future improvements and finishing plans. Whether you're dreaming of a hunting retreat, hobby farm, recreational getaway, or country homestead, this property offers a rare combination of privacy, infrastructure, and opportunity in a highly desirable location.
